Job Summary
Head coach for girls basketball at Paradise Honors Middle School; responsible for organizing and supervising the school’s basketball program, implementing NFHS coaching fundamentals and safety standards, developing players’ skills and team strategy, upholding sportsmanship and character development, coordinating with District Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director, and Principal; ensure compliance with CAA, Greathearts or AIA bylaws; oversee assistant coaches; pursue ongoing professional development through coaching clinics.
Required Qualifications
- NFHS coaching Fundamentals
- NFHS Concussion Education
- First Aid/CPR
- IVP Fingerprint clearance card
- Has the ability to organize and supervise a sports program
- Has previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport
- Coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
- Must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instruction and actions
