Job Summary
Coaches will administer all levels of their basketball program for grades 5-8, follow the procedures of the high school’s athletic program and the CIF, and be responsible for communication with student-athletes and families, player development, and holistic evaluation of athletes. The role emphasizes developing a meaningful practice structure, leadership development, and adherence to the Jaguar family core principles, with selection of team captains and SAAC members based on character and leadership. The position requires reliability, transportation, and the ability to pass a full background check, with season start in mid-November and practices 2-3 weekday afternoons plus games; salary range $2,000-$5,000 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching at the middle school, high school, college or club level.
- Should have experience working, playing or coaching in a value-based athletic program.
- Must be reliable, prompt and dependable.
- Must be able to have transportation.
- Ability to pass a full background check.
