Job Summary
Assist Head Coach in coaching and supervising the 6th-grade girls basketball program. Maintain disciplined, sportsmanlike conduct; be prepared to fill in for the Head Coach as needed. Implement and reinforce applicable rules and safety procedures. Requires completion of required trainings (CPR/AED, safety, discipline policies) and a clear criminal records check in compliance with KHSAA/NFHS guidelines; non-exempt, part-time role aligned with the athletics department schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma or GED and 21 years of age.
- LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of all required training per board policy; including but limited: physical and emotional development of students, school’s discipline policies, procedures for dealing with discipline problems and safety and first aid training(CPR/AED certification), a clear criminal records check and follows all KHSAA and NFHS guidelines and regulations.
