Job Summary

Provide individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy to adults with mental health and substance use disorders using a bio-psychosocial model. Conduct detailed intake assessments, including diagnosis and mental status exams, to formulate treatment plans. Maintain clinical records and consult with the Medical Director and prescribing professionals on care coordination and risk management. Establish collateral relationships with families, legal systems, and community agencies to support client well-being. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours. This role is part of Gilead's multi-disciplinary program staff dedicated to empowering recovery through improved mental health and community integration.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • CT associate-level clinical licensure
  • Working toward full licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • License within 18 months of hire
  • Experience working with individuals with psychiatric issues and co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automobile insurance in good standing
  • Reliable use of personal vehicle
