Job Summary
Maintenance Worker at Gilead Community Services in New Britain, CT. Responsible for general maintenance and cleaning of buildings and properties, prioritizing and updating work orders, coordinating subcontractors, and performing tasks such as installation/removal of window air conditioning units, painting interior/exterior surfaces, and grounds maintenance (snow removal, mowing, trimming). Must have knowledge of HVAC, sprinkler, fire and security systems for troubleshooting and maintenance, maintain safety and health compliance, and participate in training. Works Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; on-call after hours as needed; HIPAA confidentiality upheld; requires driver’s license and automobile insurance. Required Qualifications
- 5 years of similar experience
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with Maintenance Request database
- General knowledge of operations and maintenance and safety
