Gifted Teacher - Elementary

Job Summary
Instructs Gifted elementary students with differentiated instruction and advanced problem-solving experiences. Teach and facilitate rigorous gifted units aligned to curriculum guidelines; analyze student data to identify strengths and growth areas; administer gifted assessments and maintain documentation. Maintain a proactive classroom management system, participate in ongoing professional development, and collaborate with colleagues. May be designated lead teacher or trainer. Requires Georgia T-4 to T-7 certification and a bachelor’s degree or higher. Salary scales for 2026-2027 not yet available; 2025-2026 scales accessible via link. Location: Jonesboro, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required
- Certification by the State of Georgia in Early Childhood Education T-4 to T-7 as required by GaPSC
- GIFTED IN-FIELD ENDORSEMENT
- Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred
