Job Summary
Coordinate the district program for gifted and talented students. Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to provide educational opportunities for GT students. Plan and implement identification of GT students district-wide, develop and revise GT curriculum, provide resources and support for staff, observe and coach classroom instruction, plan staff development on GT identification and instruction, evaluate program effectiveness through data, manage budgeting and procurement of supplies, participate in grant-writing, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement in gifted and talented education
