Job Summary
The Gift Shop Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory flow from the stockroom to the sales floor, including merchandising, product displays, restocking, sales, purchasing, and data entry in the POS system. Responsibilities include coordinating daily stockroom activities, reporting damage claims, creating displays for both seasonal and everyday products, assisting with basic stock reordering, and executing special event sales. Candidates should have strong computer skills and experience with retail operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 Years of experience in Retail
Desired Qualifications
- Visual display/ merchandising experience
- Ability to build strong working relationships with and motivate volunteers
- Point of Sale Cash Register system knowledge
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point
