Job Summary
Process complex gifts and pledges, complete adjustments through Sutter Health philanthropic foundations, and update biographical data in appropriate databases. Coordinate and maintain office activities related to recording gifts and pledges, while resolving problems and responding to inquiries from departments and donors. Manage customer needs assessments, maintain effective workflow systems, and communicate technical aspects of work to mission-driven fundraisers. Handle confidential information and juggle multiple requests under pressure using Windows-based applications including Outlook, Excel, and Access. Work full-time days Monday through Friday with a 40-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 1 year recent relevant experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services such as customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to handle public contact, confidential information and maintain effective work-flow systems
- Knowledge of Windows-based applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
- Motivated, as well as flexible, adaptable and able to maintain a positive attitude while navigating a large, complex, rapidly changing organization, and while positioning others for success
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to understand and speak to the technical aspects of the work, and translate that language to mission-driven fundraisers
- Highly organized and able to work independently, under pressure, while juggling multiple requests and competing deadlines
