Job Summary
GIA Governance & Reporting Specialist based in Johannesburg providing governance, board, and combined assurance support within the Internal Audit function. Responsibilities include preparing executive-ready presentations and briefing packs for senior meetings, consolidating inputs and drafting quarterly Audit Committee reports, coordinating reporting submissions, translating audit insights into concise Board-ready outputs, managing document control and timelines, coordinating the OM Insure CEO reporting cycle, and supporting end-to-end Combined Assurance processes. Also responsible for admin/operations tasks such as travel coordination, procurement, and formatting reports to branding standards, acting as the liaison between Internal Audit and stakeholders, and supporting MI reporting, dashboards, and management information. Requires strong written/verbal communication, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and experience drafting governance reports; proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience supporting senior management are essential; role is based in Johannesburg with related travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification in Office Administration, Business Management, Risk, Audit, or a related discipline
- 8-10 years’ experience in an administrative, operations support, or audit support role, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment
- Proven experience in drafting, coordinating, or contributing to Board-level, committee, or senior governance reports
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and in producing executive-level reporting
