Assist endoscopists in performing invasive GI exams by operating equipment, setting up rooms, and managing supplies. Post-procedure, transport patients, sterilize scopes, charge equipment, and log procedures while monitoring sterilization cycles and scope culture status. Obtain vitals for surgical patients, enter lab requests, answer the telephone, and adjust patient education resources to individual needs. Maintain par levels, order supplies, and notify supervisors of equipment requirements. Requires valid BLS certification upon hire and CPI within 90 days.
