Job Summary
GI/Liver Pathologist sought for AP/CP service in Geisinger's core laboratory network. Board-certified pathologist with subspecialty GI/Liver expertise; responsibilities include general AP/CP duties, GI/Liver case workload, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, potential leadership roles, and participation in clinical/translational research within a multi-hospital system. Fellowship/training in GI/Liver pathology and good communication and teamwork are required. Academic appointment available; opportunities for leadership positions and teaching within Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. No travel required beyond the Danville site; night/weekend call shared among pathologists.
Required Qualifications
- AP/CP board certification
- Fellowship training or high level of GI/Liver pathology expertise
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
