Job Summary
GI Lab Technician located in the Endoscopy unit under RN supervision. Responsibilities include setup, operation, general maintenance and troubleshooting of video equipment and endoscopes, assembling and setting up items for procedures, assisting the procedure room nurse and physician during procedures, cleaning/restocking procedure rooms after use, and processing/cleaning endoscopes. Requires ability to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patient served and to demonstrate growth and development knowledge. Must complete job-specific orientation and competencies and uphold patient rights in all aspects of care.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
