GI Lab - Clinical Nurse (FT)

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment needs and medication administration, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop care plans. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; participates in professional development and safety/regulatory compliance; works within the GI Digestive Disease Center in a Magnet-designated hospital setting with opportunities for career ladder advancement and ongoing education. Rotating 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage; includes on-call responsibilities and a 24-hour emergency department environment.
