GI Lab - Clinical Nurse

GI Lab - Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates patients/families on illness management and home care needs, and ensures effective communication of the plan of care across the care continuum. The role supports patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and requires call coverage with 45-minute response time; operates in a Magnet-recognized, acute-care hospital network with Chest Pain Center PCI and Stroke Ready designation. Role emphasizes collaboration with an interprofessional team, care planning, and documentation in accordance with established nursing standards. The position is safety-sensitive and requires nursing licensure (RN) and appropriate nursing education; acceptable experience includes an nursing diploma/associate's degree with preferred Bachelor-level education.
