Job Summary
Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for endoscopy patients; as directed, may prepare the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment, uphold patient safety standards, and assist the physician and registered nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program, with duties ranging from limited to more complex, all aligned with Mercy Service Standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
