Job Summary
GHS Freshman Volleyball Coach position at Globe High School functions as an extra duty contract for the 2026-2027 school year, with hours and duties varying by assignment. Responsibilities include coordinating and developing assigned volleyball activities, and establishing and maintaining positive rapport with students, staff, and the surrounding community. Requires teacher certification as mandated by the AIA through the Arizona Department of Education. External applicants should plan for fingerprinting; external candidates must submit current application and resume, a copy of high school diploma or GED, and two letters of recommendation. This on-site, part-time coaching role is compensated via the Extra Duty Pay Schedule and reports to the Athletic Director/Principal. Location: Globe, Arizona. Non-benefit position with no guaranteed benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Teacher certification as required by the AIA through the Arizona Department of Education
- Requires knowledge and application skills for specific duty assignment
- Individual must be able to coordinate and/or develop assigned projects or activities as directed and be able to establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, staff, and community
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
