Job Summary
Define GHG baselines, set carbon reduction targets, and develop strategic roadmaps aligned with TotalEnergies' decarbonisation objectives and regulatory frameworks. Track emissions progress, optimize reduction strategies, and coordinate carbon footprint projects to ensure Net Zero by 2050. Lead CO2 accounting, verify compliance with Malaysian and international regulations, and prepare input for HQ and JV sustainability reports. Drive internal awareness sessions and represent the affiliate in industry forums to advance emission reduction efforts. Requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas, expertise in Scope 1–3 accounting, and proficiency in GHG Protocol standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector
- Proven track record in GHG management
- Carbon accounting experience
- Hands-on experience in implementing carbon reduction projects
- Leadership experience in driving cross-functional teams
- Expertise in emissions measurement
- Scope 1–3 accounting
- Carbon footprint analysis
- Strong application of GHG protocol
- API Standards
- PETRONAS standards
- NREB reporting guidelines
- ISO 14064-1 verification methodology
- Proven ability to design and execute carbon reduction and energy efficiency initiatives
- Proficiency in emissions tracking systems
- Data analysis skills

- Management of multi-project portfolios
- Structured delivery of GHG projects
