GGH - Health Care Aide

Health Care Aide acts as a member of the health care team, assisting with patient care and providing basic supportive care as directed, under the supervision of the Manager Health Services, Registered Nurse, Registered Psychiatric Nurse, and/or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role supports the Medicine (5N) unit at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, with in-person shifts across days, evenings, and weekends. Candidates must have knowledge of PHIA, WHMIS and Universal Precautions, strong English communication, and a willingness to collaborate as part of a clinical support team; Indigenous language or knowledge is preferred. The term position requires completion of a Health Care Aide course and adherence to comprehensive safety and credential checks (CRCs, Vulnerable Sector Search, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks).
