Job Summary
Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards while providing superior customer service and greeting visitors within ten seconds. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure accurate end-of-shift cash balancing under strict PCI compliance and safety protocols. Assist with mark-downs, organize hardline and soft-line goods, and report hazards to leadership. Complete required hands-on and computer-based training, crosstrain in production and sales as requested, and perform other duties as assigned. Available for flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably previous retail and/or cashier work experience
- Able to use a cash register, calculator, and credit card processing machine correctly and make change accurately
- Able to demonstrate good judgment in recognizing items appropriate for sale
- Able to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Able to follow instructions and comply with policies and procedures
- Able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team leaders, team members, customers, and clients
- Able to lift, push, pull up to fifty (50) lbs. with no support regularly
- Able to engage in prolonged standing, walking, and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching
- Able to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by the job
- Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion
- Manual dexterity is required
