Job Summary
Manage Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property throughout the asset lifecycle from receipt through final disposition. Maintain accurate property accountability records, coordinate physical and wall-to-wall inventories, and reconcile discrepancies. Receive, inspect, tag, record, issue, transfer, and dispose of Government property while investigating lost, damaged, or stolen assets. Monitor equipment utilization and coordinate maintenance, repair, replacement, and calibration activities. Support Government Property Administrators during audits and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation and contractual requirements. Coordinate with logistics, supply, warehouse, and mission partners to maintain accurate property records across geographically dispersed locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Government property management, supply accountability, logistics, warehouse operations, or asset management for Government or Department of Defense programs
- Experience managing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFP), or Contractor Acquired Property (CAP)
- Experience conducting inventories, maintaining property accountability records, and supporting Government property audits
- Working knowledge of Federal property management regulations, FAR Part 45, DFARS property requirements, and Government property accountability principles
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate property accountability activities across multiple organizations while maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations
- Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25%
- Type of Travel: Outside Continental US
- Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Property Management, Operations Management, or a related field
- Experience utilizing property accountability systems such as DPAS, GCSS-Army, DPSS, Navy ERP, Air Force ILS-S, AssetSmart, Maximo, SAP, Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent Government property management systems
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA), National Property Management Association (NPMA) certifications, Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), or equivalent property management certifications
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed Government programs involving OCONUS logistics, deployed operations, or Special Operations Forces
