Job Summary
GFCC Advisory Vice President in Berlin responsible for advising the business on regulatory requirements and changes to AML/CTF laws affecting EEA locations, assisting in evaluating new business initiatives and associated risks, providing guidance on internal policies/regulatory matters, reviewing escalations involving AML events and sanctions, collaborating with teams for regulatory examinations/audits, and delivering staff training. Requires strong knowledge of German regulatory financial crime requirements, degree level education or equivalent experience, risk assessment capabilities, and excellent communication and organization skills. Preference for digital banking experience and ability to work independently under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the German regulatory financial crime requirements
- Degree level education (or equivalent) or direct relevant work experience
- Experience in assessing risk and making sound decisions in relation to ML/TF, with ability to escalate when appropriate
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and planning skills
- Ability to make decisions, multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in concisely summarizing complex topics
