Job Summary
Conduct daily patient intake, obtain vital signs, and prepare charts for family practice visits, sick care, and preventive exams. Administer vaccines, medications, and subcutaneous/intramuscular injections for GLP-1 weight management programs while performing venipuncture, urinalysis, and point-of-care testing. Coordinate prescription refills, prior authorizations, and pharmacy communications, then document all interactions and clinical tasks accurately in the EMR. Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and support the clinical team with referrals and follow-up scheduling.

Desired Qualifications
- Previous family practice experience

- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Comfortable administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Experience administering vaccines
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Experience with EKGs and point-of-care testing
- Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Experience with referrals and medication prior authorizations
- Comfortable communicating professionally with pharmacies, insurance companies, specialists, and patients
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
- Comfortable working closely with a Nurse Practitioner and clinical team
