Job Summary
Senior Manager, Engine Line on-site in Saint-Hubert, QC, leading a team of supervisors and staff to optimize throughput, lead-time reduction, and WIP control while ensuring health & safety, environmental compliance, and product quality. Drive operational efficiency through Lean/continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen), oversee KPI tracking (throughput, quality, cost, customer satisfaction), and manage production planning to meet delivery deadlines. Spearhead strategic vision (1/5/10 years) for growth within the MRO network, promote innovation, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain on-site operations in a bilingual (French-English) environment with experience managing both unionized and non-unionized workforces.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management with more than 10 years of progressive management experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience leading both unionized and non-unionized teams
- Demonstrated success in operations management with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- MBA or other advanced management degree preferred
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects impacting EH&S, HR, Quality, Finance, Ethics/Compliance, and Export Controls
- Strong strategic leadership, teamwork, results orientation, and adaptability
- Proficiency in English and French reading/writing for technical documentation and communications
