Job Summary
Lead engineering consulting projects from planning through implementation, managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for distribution centers, warehouse automation, and supply chain operations. Serve as the primary client contact throughout project delivery, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables while reviewing technical analyses and recommendations. Mentor junior consultants and engineers, and support business development through proposals and client presentations. Collaborate with global Miebach teams on large-scale engagements. Based in the Montréal metropolitan area, this role requires 13+ years of progressive engineering consulting experience and fluency in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (minimum) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 13 years of progressive engineering consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering consulting projects and client engagements
- Extensive experience delivering supply chain engineering, warehouse design, logistics, or automation projects
- Professional consulting experience with a recognized engineering or supply chain consulting firm
- Current residence within the Montréal metropolitan area
- Professional fluency in both French and English, including written and verbal communication
- Experience with distribution center and warehouse design
- Experience with supply chain engineering and network optimization
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Körber, or similar)
- Experience with Material handling and warehouse automation technologies (AS/RS, AMRs, AGVs, conveyor and sortation systems)
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with AnyLogic or FlexSim
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with Project management methodologies and engineering consulting best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Titre d'ingénieur (ing.) délivré par l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ou admissibilité à celui-ci
- Certification PMP
- Certification Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Certification APICS/ASCM
- Expérience de direction de projets de consultation à l'échelle internationale
