Job Summary
Manage production functions and maintain a safe work environment while leading high-performance teams in a unionized manufacturing setting. Plan and oversee all production activities to ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and innovation, while fostering collaboration and developing talent within your business sector. Coordinate operations transformation and support internal and external customers through effective communication in both French and English. Work Monday through Friday in an on-site role at the Longueuil facility, applying strategic leadership to exceed business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience
- Master degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience
- Strong management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Excellent command of French
- Very good English level (spoken and written)
- Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms
- Ability to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
