Job Summary
Lead strategic and operational development of Lern-Fair e.V. by overseeing fundraising strategy, managing relationships with funders, and ensuring budget planning and liquidity. Direct a team comprising 12 full-time staff, 6 minijobs, and approximately 400 volunteers while establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and priorities. Translate the association's strategy into operational goals, develop organizational structures and processes, and distribute responsibility across the team. Collaborate closely with the board and supervisory board to prevent burnout through effective delegation and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Remote Work with fixed residence in Germany
- Travel readiness
- Full-time employment in an established non-profit association
- Passion for educational justice for young people in Germany
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience from professional career
- Responsibility for an area or as management of full-time employees in non-profit or NGO context
- Experience with fundraising and grants (especially foundation funds)
- Excellent German language skills (C2)
- Negotiable English language skills (minimum B2)
