Job Summary
German language instructor needed in Washington, DC to teach adult professionals in-person at the ICLS schoolhouse. Teaching assignments may be full-time or part-time for private students or small groups, across a range of proficiency levels. Requires a minimum of two years’ experience teaching German to adults, native-level German proficiency, and a bachelor’s degree. Preferred qualifications include a postgraduate degree in teaching/second language acquisition, familiarity with ILR, curriculum development experience, and experience preparing students for DoD and Foreign Service proficiency testing.
