Job Summary
German- and English-speaking customer support role handling email and live chat across industries (Edtech, eCommerce, Fintech, Health and Wellness) for Crescendo partners. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer experience across channels, handling order/product inquiries and basic technical troubleshooting, meeting KPIs, sharing customer insights, escalating trends, cross-functional collaboration, and navigating multiple software platforms. 1+ years in customer service, strong German and English skills, Zendesk experience a plus, and ability to work across different time zones. Remote from South Africa under a temporary 6-month contract with training 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CET and shifts including weekends. Start date: July 02, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service role
- Excellent English and German skills; written and verbal
- Experience with Zendesk (or related) is a plus
- Organized and capable of managing time with colleagues in different time zones
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and software
- Proactive and collaborative
- Active listener who is a determined problem solver
