Job Summary
Provide medical care to treat, prevent, and/or diagnose illness, disease, or injury through home visits and in-office appointments. Examine patients, analyze records and test results to diagnose conditions, then prescribe treatment, administer therapy or medication, and discuss procedures with patients. Advise patients and the community on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention while collaborating with non-physician providers such as NPs, PAs, and CNMs. Perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs. Requires an MD/DO degree, completed geriatric fellowship, board certification, and a valid NY State license.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- completion of accredited residency program
- Completion of Fellowship in Geriatrics
- Board Certified
- Valid NY State license
- CDS
- DEA
- BLS
