Job Summary
Geriatric Section Head to lead the division's clinical care, education, and research programs across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home settings. Responsibilities include directing the vision for geriatric care, teaching and mentoring students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty, potential dual appointment with the Charleston VA for research, and tailoring clinical schedules. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Internal Medicine or FM Physician with Geriatric Fellowship training
- Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina
- Demonstrated leadership in academics, teaching, or research
- Academic orientation and enthusiasm for teaching
- Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to high quality patient care
