Job Summary
Lead the geriatrics program across inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and home settings as Geriatric Section Head in the Department of Medicine at MUSC. Direct the vision for geriatric care, teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty, with potential for dual appointment with the Charleston VA including research. Tailor clinical schedule to interests; Faculty appointment commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits and PSLF eligibility; Epic EMR platform support.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Internal Medicine or FM Physician with Geriatric Fellowship training
- Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina
- Demonstrated leadership in academics, teaching, or research
- Academic orientation and enthusiasm for teaching
