Job Summary
Manage complex behavioural cases, discharge planning, and orthogeriatric care across acute, sub-acute, perioperative, and community-based settings while upholding CQ Health values and driving continuous improvement. Lead performance development, promote health and safety, and support research and education within a multidisciplinary Geriatric team. Maintain ongoing CME program enrolment and undergo a five-yearly credentialing review to determine scope of clinical practice. Total remuneration reaches up to $528,432 p.a., including an Attraction Incentive of up to $70,000, alongside professional development leave and allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist Physician – Geriatric Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in the specialty of Geriatric Medicine
- Applicants with equivalent overseas qualifications assessed as substantially comparable by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies
- Full time permanent role availability
