Job Summary
Geriatric Physician for a full-time clinical position at Borinquen Medical Center in Miami, FL, joining an urban FQHC with a residency program. The physician will supervise the primary care service clinic, participate in training residents (including women’s health and outpatient pediatrics), and perform exams, history-taking, diagnostic testing, and referrals. Responsibilities include after-hours coverage, quality audits, committee participation, maintaining patient confidentiality, community engagement, and developing policies/procedures. Requires active Florida medical license, MD or DO, and board certification/eligibility in geriatric, family, or primary care medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Licensed in the State of Florida.
- Geriatric Medicine Specialist/Family Medicine with Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or by American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM)
- Must be Board Eligible or Certified in a primary care specialty.
- Experience with Geriatric Patients.
