Job Summary
Per-diem Geriatric Nursing Assistant needed to support a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Essex, MD. Provide ADL assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding), monitor and report vital signs, support mobility and fall prevention, document care accurately, and collaborate with supervising nurse to ensure patient safety and high-quality geriatric care. Requires completion of an accredited NA program, active Maryland NA license, and current BLS certification; at least one year of geriatric care experience. Shifts include 3:00 PM–11:00 PM EDT or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM EDT with breaks included.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant (NA) program
- Licensure: Active Maryland state NA license and current BLS Certification
- Experience: At least one year of relevant field experience working with geriatric patients is required
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs monitoring, patient hygiene, and mobility support
