Job Summary
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents per care plan in a PRN role. Responsibilities include assisting with resident reports, maintaining a clean and safe environment, facilitating activities, responding to resident requests with dignity, preparing residents for activities, maintaining documentation of activities of daily living and restorative programs, and upholding departmental, center, and corporate policies. Requires completion of a Nurse Aide Training Program and passing a state test within 120 days; high school diploma or GED; benefits package available. Strong communication, compassion, teamwork, and adherence to infection control and safety standards are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or be eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days from date of employment.
