Job Summary
Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating individuals and families on illness management, post-treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. This safety-sensitive position requires a constant state of alertness. Full-time nights shifts include three 12-hour shifts per week, with an average of every third weekend off and rotating holidays.
