Job Summary
Hybrid National Sales Manager leading promotion of Abbott Diabetes Care products in Mexico City, responsible for developing and coordinating strategic promotion and sales activities across sales channels, healthcare professionals, consumers, hospitals, trade marketing, market access, and government; structure and empower the medical sales force to drive adoption of the Libre digital ecosystem (LibreLink, LibreView) and ensure demand generation, physician adoption, patient conversion, and ROI; supervise district managers, design incentive plans and evaluation systems, coordinate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Government Sales, manage regional P&L, and develop alliances with diabetes associations and key opinion leaders; ensure compliance with conduct and local regulations; travel up to 50% domestically.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business, or a related field
- MBA preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- At least 4 years managing medical sales forces
- Experience in diabetes, endocrinology, cardiometabolic, medical technology, or digital health preferred
- Strong knowledge of Mexico’s healthcare ecosystem (IMSS, ISSSTE, private sector, clinics)
- Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into clear value messages
- Advanced English
