Job Summary

Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company standards and coach all team members to build new business and increase store growth. Lead the charge on local marketing strategies, obtain referrals, and host community events to drive revenue. Examine and process loan and pawn applications while assessing risk within established limits. Enforce quality standards, procedures, and local/state laws by participating in audits and compliance reviews. Supervise office security, cash management, and loss prevention by verifying cash overages/shortages, vaults, inventory, and deposits. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures, train new staff in keyholder duties, and participate in hiring and retention. Develop work schedules based on budget and store needs, handle complex customer situations with integrity, and maintain store appearance and facility needs. Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment to meet performance standards. Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingüe (español/inglés)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
  • Operations experience in a leadership capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
  • Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
  • Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
