Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards and coaching all team members to build new business and increase store growth. Lead the charge for local marketing strategies, obtain referrals, and host community events to steer growth and build revenue. Examine and process loan/pawn applications, assess risk within established limits, and enforce adherence to quality standards and local laws. Supervise office security, manage cash and loss prevention, and conduct proper opening and closing procedures. Handle complex customer situations with integrity and maintain internal and external store appearance. Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment, handle multiple challenging tasks, and maintain a full-time schedule including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingüe (español/inglés)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
