Job Summary
Lead integral project management for engineering projects in mining and metallurgy, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and commercial objectives. Direct the development of engineering studies and consulting for projects ranging from preliminary economic assessments to bankable estimates, while supervising multidisciplinary teams. Manage client relationships, contracts, scope changes, and financial performance monitoring, including budget tracking and profitability analysis. Identify business growth opportunities and facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure technical, safety, and sustainability standards. Provide mentorship to project teams and support talent development.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering project management for the mining and metallurgy sectors
- Proven experience leading PEA, CS, PFS, FS, NI 43-101, BE or other engineering and mining project evaluation studies
- Solid experience in scope, schedule, cost, risk and contract management
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and interacting with high-level clients
- Knowledge of project management standards and best practices
- Advanced English language proficiency
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
