Job Summary
Manage Materials functions including inventory, quality, pricing, and delivery under the Plant Manager. Comply with BOS, ISO/IATF-16949, and Customer Specific requirements while working with Operations Manager to develop production plans and forecasts. Monitor inventory adjustments, cycle counting, and plant MRP to meet customer expectations at efficient cost. Identify waste contributing to inventory shrink and develop procedures for assigned work centers. Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws including CPTAT, and participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental programs through audits and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Compliance with BOS, ISO/IATF-16949 and Customer Specific requirements
- Knowledge of ADIENT BOS Responsibilities Matrix
- Ability to develop production plans and forecasts
- Experience with sales forecasts and adjustment based on release information
- Inventory management including adjustments and cycle counting
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws including CPTAT
- Management of Plant MRP requirements
- Identification of waste and plant inventory shrink
- Development and update of Materials procedures
- Participation in Health, Safety and Environmental program including following policies, procedures and work instructions
- Safety observation audits
- Regulatory compliance
- Environmental awareness and audits
- Continuous improvement
