Job Summary
Handle diamond drill core handling, processing, sampling, cutting, and basic data collection while maintaining compliance with company safety, environmental, and code of conduct standards. Execute core preparation tasks such as unit conversions, quality control, piecing, washing, meter marking, and tagging. Conduct field duties including drill pad delineation, staking, escorting, and sample line outs. Organize and store materials like palletized core boxes and equipment. Collaborate with geological and operations teams to optimize workflow. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license for long-distance driving, ability to lift 60 pounds, and willingness to work outdoors 8+ hours in extreme weather.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid United States driver's license
- Must be able to perform long-distance driving
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to regularly work outdoors for 8+ hours in extreme weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, and in remote areas
- Ability to learn and apply best-practice professionality, ethics, and industry work and safety standards
