Geotechnical Superintendent - Projects

Job Summary
Lead and endorse geotechnical design, analysis, and verification for major or complex projects, selecting and reviewing technical approaches and assumptions. Integrate geotechnical inputs with mine planning, construction, operations, schedules, and budgets while managing geotechnical uncertainty and residual risk. Drive practical, risk-based solutions, ensure work is validated and peer-reviewed, and close the loop between investigation, design, and observed performance. Mentor engineers and manage competing project objectives while protecting acceptance criteria. Report to the Group Geotechnical Engineer in the Subiaco Head Office on a Monday to Friday roster.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in open pit and underground mining operations and projects
- in-depth understanding of geotechnical design
- operational execution in complex environments
- Bachelor of Engineering (mining, civil, or geological engineering)
- postgraduate degree in mine geomechanics
- current Australian C - Class Drivers licence
- medical screening
- drug and alcohol screening
- relevant right to work
- valid Australian national police clearance
