Job Summary
Conduct geotechnical site investigations, assign and assess laboratory tests, and prepare investigation reports. Interpret data to establish material characteristics and complete analyses for seepage, slope stability, bearing capacity, liquefaction, and settlement. Maintain management updates on work status, workload, and progress. Prepare proposals, bid documents, capital cost estimates, construction drawings, and design reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering, proficiency in MS Office and geotechnical software, and ability to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering from an ABET accredited college
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of geotechnical testing
- Knowledge of general civil/geotechnical engineering design and construction practices
- Strong technical skills

- Ability to obtain EIT/FE certification within one year
