Job Summary
Benesch seeks a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead high-impact geotechnical projects from concept to completion across the U.S. In this senior leader role, you will manage budget, schedule, and quality while overseeing field explorations, subsurface investigations, and construction observations. You will prepare technical reports and proposals, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 12+ years of experience, and proficiency in relevant geotechnical software.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 12+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, including project management
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain PE quickly
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (AutoCAD, Geostudio, Lpile, or similar)
- Knowledge of transportation and railroad design and construction standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
