Job Summary

Conduct stability, settlement, and seepage analyses for solid waste disposal facilities while designing surface water systems, leachate collection, and grading plans. Coordinate field and laboratory investigations to characterize facilities and oversee preparation of detailed technical reports. Manage project tasks to ensure timely completion and respond to client needs by preparing proposals and communicating clearly with regulatory agencies and colleagues. Integrate various civil engineering disciplines on projects and maintain continuous professional growth through collaboration with senior staff. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis, 2-10 years of experience, and EIT or P.E. registration. AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical engineering
  • At least 2-10 years of relevant experience with geotechnical projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel
  • EIT or P.E. registration
  • Solid written and oral communication skills to include proposal writing and reporting
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel out of town
