Job Summary
Manage multiple clients, contracts, and projects simultaneously while performing geotechnical engineering analyses, studies, and calculations. Prepare technical engineering reports, review documents and calculations from lower-level engineers, and interact with clients, vendors, and staff across all levels. Lead, mentor, and supervise engineers or oversee a local office location as assigned. Support business development by preparing cost proposals and presentations for existing and prospective clients, while adhering to the firm's Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, and Loss Prevention policies.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering specialty)
- MS or PhD Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (or Geological Engineering), supported by a BS Degree in Engineering or Geology
- 14+ years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in the state office is located
- Mentoring and supervisory experience
