Job Summary
Langan seeks a Geotechnical Engineer responsible for planning and executing field investigations, monitoring foundation and earthwork construction, and preparing geotechnical engineering reports for high-profile projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, with a preferred Master's degree focusing on Geotechnical. A minimum of 1 year of experience and EIT Certification or FE exam registration is required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in teams are also essential. Due to project requirements, US citizenship is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- EIT Certification, or current registration for FE exam
- 1+ years of work-related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
- Willingness to spend the majority of work hours in the field
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
