Job Summary
Plan and supervise soil exploration, logging, and classification while conducting field and laboratory soil tests to evaluate soil types, behavior, and engineering properties. Lead and manage Engineering Technicians/Inspectors and Drilling Crews, preparing comprehensive Geotechnical Engineering Site Investigation Reports. Work across different disciplines to support Island Geotechnical Engineering's established geotechnical services in Hawaii. This role requires a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis, valid driving license, and the ability to lift 50 lb. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with Emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Be able to lift and carry 50 lb.
- Must have valid Driving License
Desired Qualifications
- Geotechnical Engineers both experienced and seasoned
- recently graduates with B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering
